Chord Progressions in Minor
As mentioned before, this will only serve as a guide. This is a general example of what’s been used throughout the years in music theory.
Here is an example of C diatonic chords in the minor mode.

Notice that in the minor mode, V is capitalized. This means that instead of playing a Bb, the leading tone is played. This allows for better voice leading and nicer harmonic progression. You also have the option of using both versions of the “vii” chord as you will see below:

Some of the favorites I like to use are:
1. i -> iv -> i -> V
2. i -> VI -> iio -> V
